New Snapdragon Etsy Store!
Hi People! We at Snapdragon Jewelry have decided to reopen our Etsy store! We started one in 2005, but unfortunately got so busy with putting our own website up and also creating new designs, that it sort of fell by the wayside. We have decided, however, that we want to rejoin the awesome Etsy community. It's really exciting how many crafters are on there now and what a great community it really is. Please support crafters and shop at Etsy for your shopping needs! How cool is it that you can purchase a one of a kind item for your loved one's birthday? I think it's way easier to find more creative and fun gifts for every kind of person. Abigail Percy - Vintage Line
I found out about Abigail Percy via Love Made Visible who found out via Outblush. Her style has an absolutely beautiful organic feel with different nature designs. I really love this kind of jewelry and I hope to be able to afford some of her stuff. Check out more of her designs on her flickr page.

Frank Gehry Does Jewelry?
When I heard that the architect Frank Gehry (famous for his whimsical designs and his appearance on an episode of the Simpsons) also designs a line of jewelry for Tiffany's, I had to see it. His style is exactly what one might expect based on his architecture. While it's expensive because it is, after all, Tiffany's, there are some really beautiful designs, too.

Loops Designs
I stumbled across this Etsy shop today called Loops Designs (designs by Sarah Dible). She has really amazing designs created by hammering sterling silver (and oxidizing some of them). Being in the jewelry industry myself, and having a partner who can do this amazing stuff, makes me love and appreciate freehand designs. So! Here are some of her awesome designs!

I am really in love with the style of jewelry from smallthings. Simple and silver with some fantastic organic shapes. I think you could wear this with pretty much anything, formal or casual. Anyway, here are their three sections:

Sundance
While internet surfing, I came across the Sundance website. Not the one for films, but a related company which sells handcrafted materials. It's a pretty fun store and I found some cool jewelry items. There are a variety of jewelry designers and artisans and prices vary. Some affordable, some quite expensive. Definitely a site I'll be checking more.
I LOVE these Cascade Earrings - They're nice and chunky and would look great with any dressy occasion.
These are adorable as well: Lime Drop Earrings - I love that color and I really love how simple the design is.
And then here's a gorgeous Pearl Cupcake Ring - I'm a sucker for the viney filigree work.

Modflo
Here's a little interesting Etsy shop called Modflo where the seller draws her (I'm assuming it's a her) designs in ink and then bakes her designs into durable plastic. Seems like a fun project and I really love how simple and organic her designs are. It also seems like jewelry that would go with anything.
