Ah the mix tape. How I used to sit next to my double-deck tape player and work on these things forever. I still have some of the ones Kylie made for me back in the day. I know you can still make mix CDs, and I do, but I still sometimes feel a little nostalgic for the aesthetics of a tape. Suck UK has satisfied that longing. Kind of.

We just redesigned a little over at snapd.net so come check out our new look! We are also still having our Fall Sale. Enjoy!

This might be one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time. Book of Lights from Artecnica looks like so much fun! A lamp made of paper!

Thanks to poppytalk for bringing this to my attention.
My friend, Kellie, just posted about an adorable print she bought from the Etsy shop of Belle and Boo. I'm totally smitten by these illustrations. Here are a couple of my favorites.

I would totally use these when reading for class. That way I would know exactly where to turn to find a quote for class or the questions I had about crappy theory. But best of all, they are not only helpful, they are cute. Only $8 for a set of 250".

I'm not one to covet expensive handbags, usually. In fact, designer anything isn't really on my radar. I just happened to be looking at Kate Spade's website for stationary and decided to browse the handbags just for fun. Uh oh.. I think I'm in love with these three to four hundred dollar handbags.

Don't worry, this one is on sale for only $256.

Reform School is an awesome website dedicated to several crafters and artists and being eco-friendly. It's a really cool website (in design and products) and I had fun checking out their many items. My favorite is this English Summer Pendant.

Or this fun Everyday People Hemp Purse

If you don't yet, you could start learning with these Sarah Wilkins French/English flashcards, found via Design for Mankind. I love the throwback to the 50s schoolroom illustrations and the paintchip shape of the cards. Plus, I just love the French language. It makes even mundane things sound beautiful.
