Magic Globe Lights

I'm a sucker for colored lights. I really like these because of the shape, and I like that you can float them in a pool, if you happen to have a pool. I wonder, though, whether you could somehow hang them. I'd like them in trees, too. You can pick some up from Grandin Road.

Frank Gehry Does Jewelry?

When I heard that the architect Frank Gehry (famous for his whimsical designs and his appearance on an episode of the Simpsons) also designs a line of jewelry for Tiffany's, I had to see it. His style is exactly what one might expect based on his architecture. While it's expensive because it is, after all, Tiffany's, there are some really beautiful designs, too.

Silicups

I'd like to know if these Silicups from Williams-Sonoma really work. They look so pretty, and I like the idea of reusing them (save on paper and such). But are they hard to clean? Plus, you'd probably have to make a lot of cupcakes for it to be worth it. Still, when I eventually have a well-stocked kitchen, I think these may have to be part of it.

Satsuma Press

I can't remember where I first heard of Satsuma Press, but I bookmarked it at some point. I went there again today, and I love these letterpress notecards. They're so simple, lovely, and elegant.

All Choked Up

My family always had artichokes with special meals, like on Christmas Eve and Easter. I always gave the heart away because it was my least favorite part. I haven't ever cooked an artichoke on my own, but I think I would if I had one of these nifty Vertichokes found at Sur La Table.

Tea Cups

At $55 each, these teacups from Peek Keep are on the pricey side, but I love the dainty design, and I love that you can get them in aqua.

Spring Camping

I'm not much of a camper, but I wouldn't mind doing this kind of camping. Cute spring shoes from Camper (found on Zappos).

I *heart* Nikki McClure

So I'm sure Nikki McClure is not news to any of you crafters out there, but I thought I'd spotlight her amazing work because I just got this fabulous gift, The First 1000 Days from some dear friends. It's the most adorable baby book! It's perfect because you don't get a cheesy baby book, but a real bound book with cool artwork and plenty of blank space to do what you want with words and pictures. I can't wait to fill it out!

Please click that link to see some examples of the pages. Plus, it's a perfect gift for your friends having babies! If you don't know much about Nikki, she uses an x-acto knife to create her beautiful illustrations. Check out all her work at that first link (above).
