Fun With Threadless

This might be a well-known one already, but I figured I'd post this for all those who don't know about Threadless. Threadless is a website which allows anyone to upload his/her designs for t-shirts and then Threadless actually prints the shirts and sells them. I think it's a pretty clever idea and this way you get to wear artwork you probably have never found if not for that site. There's a variety of designs and this also ensures that you probably won't be wearing the same shirt as everyone else around you, which is always a plus. Check out some of the designs that I liked:

Strange Birds

Nature Call!

The Deep

The Things You Love

Browse the site though. There's a lot more.

Pixel Girl Shop

Pixel Girl Shop is a cool little store in which different people contribute different products that they make. It's definitely fun to browse and see the unique items that people make.

I absolutely ADORE these Rainy Day Earrings.

This is a fun print called Three's a Crowd by Ashley Goldberg.

Or this fantastic vinyl Sparrow Messenger bag by SugarLust Designs.

As you can see, there's a variety of items available for purchase here. It's a fun place. Check it out.

Ken's Furniture Concepts, Inc.

Ken's Furniture Concepts, Inc. is a new furniture business inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement. Ken is a friend of mine from art school and has really great furniture. I love his designs and I hope you do too! Ken makes fabulous furniture and custom picture frames. Check out his new site.

Chikagraphy!

Holy crap!!! Have you seen anything cuter???? These stuffed animals by Chikagraphy are soooo darling. The detail is pretty amazing and the shape of the animals are really fun. Here are some that I found through the Mahar Drygoods website (which is a really cool and fun store).

Stella the Squirrel

Donnatello the Deer

Billy the Tuff Bunny

Dress In Style!

Hey, so Target always has some good deals on clothes. I was checking out their dresses section and they have some really great finds right now. Check it:

Merona Drop-Waist Knit Dress

Merona Floral Print Dress

Merona Flutter Sleeve Dress

I like these designs because they're kind of vintage looking. Plus, you just can't go wrong with 25 bucks.

Nebo Peklo

Here is Nebo Peklo, an artist who is right up my alley. I totally love this kind of art and have even attempted doing this style myself (I'm not so great at it). Anyway, looks like she uses pen, water color, and the Gocco (screen printing, love that Gocco!).

So refreshing! I love it! Also, thanks to Oh Joy for helping me to discover Nebo.

Haute Notes

I got this one from The Readymade Blog (Readymade Magazine). It's Haute Note which lets you pick a card design, you provide the text (or leave blank) and they print them and send them to you. They have some really cute designs and this would be a good idea to do for any occasion or holiday.

Who doesn't love getting fabulous invitations in the mail for any occasion? I certainly love them. It's sort of a past-time reserved for really formal occasions, but I think we should bring it back.

Blouses For Any Occasion

I totally fell in love with this blue blouse (The Cady Shirt from Delia's). I am totally going to get it.

Also really cute, The Chloe Ruffle Shirt

And let's do one more, The Ella Top

I have gotten so used to mainly wearing t-shirts that I realized I need some blouses to dress up my wardrobe. Sometimes you just want to look a little fancier.

Kanzashis

Here is Marissa Joanna Roja's Etsy shop. She makes Japanese items. I especially loved these Kanzashis (traditional Japanese hair ornaments for women). They're quite beautiful and would look amazing with any formal wear.

Maiko Sakura Kanzashi (my favorite)

White Kiku Kanzashi

Japanese Bellflower Kanzashi

I think these would look so beautiful on a bride.

Horchow Dinnerware

Here's another one I just surfed up. Seriously. Surfing the web can be so addicting. However, this time, I came across some cute dishes so it wasn't a waste of time (like surfing the web can be).

Behold the yummiest dishes.

Mazarine dinnerware. Don't you just want to take a bite out of that pink plate? Reminds me of the tastiest strawberry ice cream. And that brown, soooo chocolaty.

Astuto dinnerware. So sleek and fancy.

And I'm not much for floral dinnerware, but I have to admit, these are pretty amazing. LOVE the colors, and I love the style of the flowers. Vivre dinnerware:

I actually don't know much about The Horchow Collection as I sort of just found it surfing. But it looks like Neiman Marcus sells there stuff. Anyway, just wanted to show some pretty dishes.
